I don’t care what anyone says, Pluto is a planet. You mean to tell me that after 76 years of being a prosperous—albeit distant—member of our solar system, we’re just going to turn our backs on Pluto like it was never there in the first place? And honestly, what’s the harm of letting it stay classified as a planet? Scientific accuracy is overrated. Plus, now we’re going to have to think up a new mnemonic to remember the order of the planets. “My very eager mother just served us nine” doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it, now does it?

Times change, I suppose, and now we have Mini Solar System Crystal Balls featuring only eight planets. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t bitter about that, but I’d also be lying if I said this desktop decoration didn’t look pretty sweet.
