They say that dudes who drive big trucks are just compensating for their small honkers (pun intended). Don’t shoot the messenger here.
Flashy cars, crazy driving, huge rims… these are all examples of people who are insecure about themselves in some way. Or so they say. Again, I’m just a messenger.
In fact, more often than not, examples of overcompensation almost exclusively involve vehicles, so I wonder what coffee snobs who own one of these Yama Glass 25 Cup Cold Drip Coffee Maker are compensating for? I don’t have the answer, but I’m sure there’s an explanation out there somewhere because this thing is HUGE (44.5 inches tall, to be exact).
One does not simply buy one of these things because they enjoy a tasty cup of coffee. This thing is a commitment. Let’s also not overlook the fact that it looks like something you’d find in a science lab.
All jokes aside, I can’t knock it because it looks cool and cold brew coffee is 💣. So long, Mr. Coffee. Hello, Mama Yama.
